Dubb vs Tu tio mike: Una final inesperada pero que podia darnos algo empezando con un par de tuboos por los dos lados y algo de aburrimiento durante todo el heat decepcionando a la mayoria del publico hasta que se le presento la oportunidad a dave necesitando 6.51 agarra una ola con poco tamaño pero bien pintadaa un bueen tuboo y saliendo arriesgando todo un ars que estuvo muy cerca de completar llendose hasta las piedras en el intento de completarlo recibiendo un 5.0 lo cual no seria suficiente para obtener el titulo la serie termina teniendo como campeon a Mike Stewart .

Hubb vs Dubb: Algo que iba a quedar en la historia se enfrentaban los hermanos Hubbard teniendo a jeff como el favorito, hubb empezo el heat con un 9.0 y lo siguio dave con un 7.33 la presion estaba ensima de dave ya que jeff habia conseguido otra ola de 6.5 en este momento dave hizo enloqucer al publico ejecutando dos ars siguidos limpios altos y con estilo consiguiendo un perfect 10 despues de esto la serie no se moveria llegando asi dave a la final.

Winchester vs Stewart : la serie empezo reñida hasta que tu tio mike eligio la ola adecuada completando un tubazo obteniendo un 9.17 winchester no se quedo atras y consiguio completar un buen tubo en derecha siguiendolo con un invert air recibiendo un 8.0 la serie siguio pareja hasta que mike logro otro tubazo y dejo atras a winchester que ejecutando dos ars al final de la serie no le alcanzarian para lograr el primer puesto.

Interview to Jacob Romero(By: Juan Pablo Portugal)

Q: What do you think about the organization of the PIC 2009?

A: It was the best structure i've ever seen and the waves were great! They had a competitors are and free food which was awesome!

Q: What do you think about the peruvian competitors?

A: They are really good! Jorge Hurtado was on fire. Everyone ripps from Peru which was awesome to see! They are also really nice guys which was great!

Q: Think come back to Peru?

A: For sure.

Q: What is the wave that you like more?

A: Where in Peru. I surfed only 4 spots, but I really like Chilca the best.

Q: Which are the major sponsors that you have?

A: Turbo Bodyboards, Hi-Tech, Maui thing clothing, and Kicks fins.

Q: What advices can you give to the new generation?

A: Compete in as many contests you can. Get good results. Be positive. Build a resume. Stay away from drugs and bodyboard the North Shore of Oahu.

Q: In what island of Hawaii do you live?

A: I live on Maui.
